Mitar Milutinović: Building a Community Wireless Mesh Network

Building a community wireless mesh network along with all hardware and software issues requires also an approach for building a community around the network. I will present how we are tackling this combination in wlan ljubljana open wireless network, how we are using open source technology to solve not just networking problems, but also social ones, where are its limits and what we can learn from it. I will also present a data mining perspective on our problems and why our network is a great (open) testbed for various experiments and ideas.
