Carolina Fortuna, Alexandra Moraru: Overview of the Cyc Semantic Training - 19.11.2009

Cyc Semantic Training is composed of two modules: Cyc 101 which introduces trainees in the basics of Cyc and Cyc 201 where advanced topics are discussed. We selected interesting topics from both modules for presentation.

• From Cyc 101 we will talk about Introduction, Ontology and KB Overview, Microtheories – contextual representation, CycL, Rules and Macros and Inference.
• From Cyc 201 we will talk about Semantic Knowledge Source Integration (SKSI), Cyc and OWL, Cyc APIs, Planning with Cyc and Incorporating External Ontologies and Data (Cleveland Clinic Foundation).
